Welcome to Part Two of the inaugural double issue of Sociology of Development! This issue continues to reflect the breadth of development sociology found in Part One (Volume 1, Issue 1), in topics and methodologies, as well as the journal's commitment to publishing a diversity of perspectives. And the mix of senior and junior authorships highlights the vibrancy and continuity of this area of scholarship. We are immensely grateful to the authors for their contributions, and we thank the members of the scholarly community who reviewed the initial drafts.
The response to the journal has already been terrific. We are receiving excellent submissions from development scholars across disciplines and around the world. We hope you share our excitement and enthusiasm for the current and forthcoming issues.
